Photo Restoration

This photo is an example of what can be accomplished with photo restoration even when the original photo was in bad shape.  There were several techniques that were used to get the image into the final photo.

Because the original image was in four large sections, the digital photo needed to be shrunk down to the desired size.  All four sections needed to be combined so that there was no noticeable seam where one image stopped and the next began.  The photo restoration continued by turning the image from black and white to color.  Once that was accomplished the image was then placed on a scenic background.  Some blending to soften the edges and the photo was complete.

This is a great illustration of photo restoration and what can be accomplished if you have damaged photos that you want restored.  Whether it is a minor photo touch up, or a large photo repair project, modern digital technology in the hands of a specialist can salvage even the worst photos.

There may be quite a few photos in your photo box or album that you thought were beyond repair, but with photo restoration that does not have to be the case.  Even torn and creased photos can be restored back to their original condition so you will be able to see and enjoy them again.  Do not allow your memories to be left unappreciated.
